Delete your FindPoker account
FindPoker, ABN 13 678 806 678. Last updated 4 October 2026.
This page is for the FindPoker app, which lists poker tournaments in Australia. You never need an account to use FindPoker; one only keeps your saved games. You can delete yours in the app, or ask us to delete it without opening the app.
Ask us to delete it, without the app
Send us an email from the email address your account uses, asking us to delete the account. Writing from that address is how we know the request is yours.
Email support@findpoker.com.au to delete my account
If you no longer have that address, say so in the email and tell us which address the account uses. We aim to answer within two business days, and we write back when the account is deleted.
Delete it in the app
Open the FindPoker app, sign in, then open More, then Delete account. The account is deleted straight away.
What is deleted
Your account, its email address, its sign-in (including the password) and its saved games, meaning the games, weekly games and venues you saved. They are deleted from FindPoker's database, not hidden, and it cannot be undone. You can still use the app without an account afterwards.
If your account manages an operator's listings
Deleting the account deletes the person's sign-in, email address and saved games. The operator's listings stay on FindPoker, because they belong to the operator, not to the account. To have the listings taken down as well, say so in the same email, or use Request account closure in the app.
What can stay for a while
- Request records. Our database and sign-in service, Supabase, and our website host, Vercel, keep ordinary records of the requests they answer, and the sign-in service's records can include the email address that signed in. Those companies delete these records automatically on their own schedules. We do not use them to rebuild an account.
- Backups. Our database service can keep backup copies of the database so it can be recovered after a fault. A deleted account can remain in those copies until they are replaced in that service's normal cycle. If we ever restore the database from a backup, we delete again any account that was deleted after that backup was made.
- Town or postcode lookups. If you typed a town or postcode, the mapping service OpenCage keeps a record of that lookup for up to six months. It holds only what was typed and is not linked to your account.
- The map on Android. What Google's map software sends Google while the map is open is held by Google under its own policy. It is not linked to your FindPoker account.
- Emails you send us. An email you send us, including the request to delete your account, stays in our support mailbox as the record of what you asked and what we did.
- On your phone. Deleting the account signs you out of the app. The places you recently searched near are kept only on that phone, and go when you remove the app.
What we hold and why is set out in the privacy policy. Questions: Email support@findpoker.com.au.
